- After graduating, I joined J. Walter Thompson on Ford, Holiday Inns, Pan Am and Lark Cigarettes. I left to open my own agency. Clients included Holiday Inns, Eastern, Western, Aero Condor and KLM, AAA, Ziff Davis, Oldsmobile Dealer Associations, King Brothers and Contadora Casinos and many retail businesses. In 1982, I joined Campbell-Ewald Advertising as Senior V.P., Managing Director. Accounts included Howard Johnson and Plaza Hotels and Eastern Airlines. I re-entered the private sector in 1986 as President of Travel Industry Marketing. Clients included Flyfaire, Eastern Airlines, Econo Lodges, Omni Hotels and several franchise hotels. Next I was President of World ComNet, Senior VP Marketing for Varitek Industries and then opened Michael Sherman Marketing Services (1999 to present) serving concurrently as Marketing Director for the Winegard Company from 2002 to 2007. Recent clients include Antennas Direct, Commdeck, ComponexX, digitalwavewire, Pam Distributing and SeeStation. I have been specializing in offering Marketing Counsel for the manufacturing and wholesale Consumer Electronics Industry for the past 11 years.
